In 2 months I went from stressed, worried and negative to happy, optimistic and feeling in control of my life. We invest in our physical health why not our mental health. Probably the best investment I've ever made.
I have never tried any sort of therapy until I was recommended BWRT. Choose Liz via the BWRT website. I was nervous at first but during the first consultation session Liz put me at ease, she listen to me and identified a deep routed emotional issue about my Dad passing away. I used to cry at the thought of him or when I heard certain records. After one BWRT session I felt differently, I have more memories about my Dad, can listen to songs and no longer get emotional. Amazing feeling.
My weight was out of control. I was binge eating without really noticing / accepting what I was doing. When stressed I reached out for chocolate, bread or crisps thinking that I needed energy to survive the day.
Working with Liz I started to realise what I was doing and changed the way I planned my working and personal life. I started to reduce the stressful situations I was creating. People I worked with commented that I was more relaxed and available. as for my weight I started getting on the scales ( hadn't done so for 5 years) the result 1,2 lbs weight loss per week. Most importantly it's under control, I check my weight. I still have lots to lose but first time ever I feel in control of my own weight.
I know 3 other people who are all noticeably more comfortable about their lives.
