Hypnosis is a powerful tool that helps you take back control of your thoughts and behaviours. Rather than the mindless opening of a tobacco packet and sparking up a cigarette, we work together to break those triggers so that you don’t even want a cigarette.
Because really, that’s all it is; outdated habits and behaviours that keep you smoking. During your session, I will use a combination of hypnosis and psychotherapy to help you break those triggers.
How can I help?
BUT there’s no point investing in the programme if you don’t really want to quit smoking; I only want to work with people who really want to stop smoking and if that’s the case, with hypnotherapy I can help.

This won't be like other times
I have stopped and started smoking many times, before my final quit on 1st October 2013. This one is my final quit because it feels different!
I also know that my next cigarette would taste horrible, because let’s face it – cigarettes don’t actually taste nice!!!
This programme has been put together based on my years of stopping and starting plus working with so many people who want to quit.
It is a programme that makes sense to smokers and doesn’t sound preachy and judgemental.
If you honestly believe that cigarettes are healthy – then I would be surprised!!
If you want to quit, then I want to help you get there because after all, EVERYONE loves a quitter.

What can I expect from the session?
The first half of the session is about understanding why you smoke. I promise you that I am not a preachy ex smoker who thinks everyone should quit! If you want to quit, then let us work together to make it happen. So in a session, we talk… When do you smoke, why do you smoke, how much is it costing you, what do you love about smoking, why do you want to quit and so on. I use that information in the second half of the session to help you break those triggers around lighting up.
Will I stop straight away?
You booked in because you wanted to stop now…. not next week, nor next month. Now. I help boost that motivation so that you want to stop straight away. But I don’t make promises. We work in partnership to help you get what you want.
What happens after a session?
I stay in contact with you for up to 3 months. As part of the package, you have the opportunity of a complementary top up / booster session. I stay in contact with you also because it is important to me that you get what you want. You booked in to quit smoking – I want to help you do that.
Will you make me eat a raw onion under hypnosis?
No. I leave that for the hypnotists on TV! I am a professional, fully qualified and experienced hypnotherapist who knows what it is like to find it difficult to quit smoking.
