Life... Live it, Love it. (and if you aren't - then do something about it).

You know when you look back at your life and you can spot the points when it all changed for YOU?

I talk to my clients about the ups and downs of the roller-coaster of life! The highs and lows where something happened and then you weren’t the same person as before.

It can be the point when you decided to change direction, or the point when you started to feel or act in a different way.

This could be something small that happened when you were a kid or it could be a huge event from last week.

Either way – you are not the person you were.

September 2013

It happened to me in 2013 – standing in the garden of my parents house.

My mum had died from cancer that morning and we were waiting for the doctor and the undertaker to do their job.

I was smoking a cigarette and was pondering how things would be different. I was contemplating “About Life….. how everyone should live their life”.

After all, life IS short – way too short to be sad or depressed, stressed or anxious, addicted or carrying the baggage of the past.

And it was at THAT point that I decided that I needed to change my own future. By 2016, I walked away from my 20 year career managing mental health services. It remains the best thing I ever did!

Working alongside ONE person to move from A to B. To go from stressed or depressed to feeling calm and confident.

It took me a long time to move into my own full time practice – after all, I became a counsellor in 2003!

Over the years, I have continued to add to my qualifications so that I can offer my clients fast and effective therapies such as hypnotherapy, BLAST and Old Pain 2 Go.

I am currently on part way through a Masters in Addiction Psychology. I believe in keeping myself updated with the latest thinking and approaches so I can help you in the best way.

How I can Help You

What does working with me look like?

My overwhelming belief is that life is short.

I want to help you to get from your A to B so that you are living YOUR life again.

A standard session with me lasts up to 75 minutes and will involve a mix of approaches such as counselling, hypnosis and other therapies.

Confidentiality is paramount and will be maintained in all but the most exceptional circumstances.

Therapies are not a replacement for medical treatment or psychiatric services. Results can vary and no therapist can guarantee results.

But if you trust in me, I will do everything I can to help you.
